 BEGINNING DRAFTING/CAD STUDENTS Minimize

At Dundee High School we have one of the best Drafting/CAD programs available. We have new Computer Aided Design (CAD) stations at every desk with three major software's, including AutoCAD (AutoCAD LT 2008), an Architecture Program (Chief Architect) and a new 3-Dimensional Program (SolidWorks 2008).

There are two classes available for the beginning student, Engineering Design and Engineering Graphics. Each is 1 trimester long.
After completing the first three classes of Drafting/CAD you receive 4 credits at Monroe Community College through our Tech. Prep Program.
Monroe Community College gives out a full 2-year ALL EXPENSES PAID Academic Scholarship to one student in Monroe County every year. In three of the past five years, a Dundee student has won this scholarship.
Anyone that thinks they have an interest in Engineering or anything involved in the Construction or the Manufacturing Industry, these would be valuable classes for you.

 COLLEGE CREDIT Minimize

TECH PREP CREDIT

After completing the first three Drafting/CAD classes (Engineering Design & Graphics and Drafting/CAD 2) which consists of a total of 4 trimesters, the student will receive four credits (FREE) at Monroe County Community College.  The student no longer needs to Test Out to obtain these credits.
