In English, we will be reading Shakespeare's Hamlet during the first half of the trimester. We will also be working on grammar and proofreading daily. To improve your basic reading skills, read every day!

March is reading month! Get a book!

In physics, we will be studying motion, work, and machines. Check out the physics game website to experiment with the Laws of Motion: http://www.physicsgames.net/

In algebra, we are practicing writing linear equations, graphing, and finding slope. There are some tutorials on www.HippoCampus.org and http://nlvm.usu.edu/en/nav/vlibrary.html.

In economics, we are learning about the difference between needs and wants, goods and services, and productivity.

 Classwork and Grades Minimize

Dundee Community Schools uses a computer program for tracking students' grades. All of your child's assignments and grades are posted daily to this website. This is the best way for you to stay up-to-date with your child's grade and to find out if he or she is missing any assignments.

If your child is absent, you can check to see what he or she has missed. 

Please check the Home Access Center regularly. If you have questions about your child's grade, you can e-mail me any time.
