Hello Dundee Community Schools Family,
We are excited to share an upcoming opportunity for parents and caregivers in our district. Michigan State University Extension is offering The Parent Talk System, a free 6-week series designed to support adults as they navigate the everyday challenges of raising confident, caring, and responsible children.
Do you ever feel like the children in your care aren’t listening, or find yourself repeating directions over and over? This series provides practical communication tools and verbal strategies that can make a real difference at home. Topics include eliminating unwanted behaviors, setting healthy limits, teaching about consequences, giving effective feedback, promoting independence, and building strong character.
This program is open to parents and caregivers of children of all ages. Certificates of attendance are available, and the course is eligible for MIRegistry Credit.
