If you see an ambulance at the elementary school/middle school this morning, please know that everything is okay. We have been in contact with the family of a student that experienced a medical emergency. The students are in a soft lockdown until the student is safely transported from the building.

We are scheduled for half-days of instruction at DES, DMS, & DHS on Friday, March 17th. Our schools will dismiss at the following times: Dundee Elementary School - 12:05 p.m. Dundee Middle School - 11:00 a.m. Dundee Community High School - 11:03 a.m. Have a great week!

DCS was recently awarded a grant through the State of Michigan to perform a security assessment of all four buildings in our district. We are partnering with the school safety planning experts at American Threat Assessment & Protection to conduct these assessments. As part of this process, we are looking for volunteers to serve on a safety focus team. This group will meet before the safety assessment begins, participating in a guided discussion on the strengths and challenges of school safety planning at DCS. This group may be asked to provide ongoing feedback throughout the assessment process and may meet again following the assessment.
