Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we kick off the 2025–2026 school year, it is still uncertain whether the State of Michigan will continue funding no-cost breakfast and lunch for students through the Child Nutrition (CN) Program. The current waiver is set to expire with the end of the State’s fiscal year on September 30, 2025.
If the waiver is not extended, CN programs across the state will return to normal operations, and student meals may no longer be free.
Families will once again need to complete and submit a Free/Reduced Meal Application to determine if their student(s) qualify for assistance based on household income.
Since very few applications have been submitted in recent years, we are encouraging families to complete the Free/Reduced Meal Application. Submitting this form helps ensure that eligible children receive their meals at no cost.
The USDA’s 2025–2026 meal application is now available and can be completed in one of two ways:
1. Paper Application – Parents can print an application at home or obtain a copy at one of our schools’ offices. Completed forms should be returned to your child’s school office or the Food Service Department.
2. Online Application – Complete the form online at: Dundee Infinite Campus Portal. Once you have logged into Infinite Campus, select the ‘More’ option on the left-hand drop-down column, the ‘Meal Benefits’, and finally ‘Meal Benefits Application’ to complete your form electronically.
We remain committed to providing high-quality, nutritious, and well-balanced meals to all students. The health and well-being of your child(ren) are our highest priority, and we will work to make this transition back to standard operations as smooth as possible.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Marshall Goldstein
