Mrs. H's Y5 friends made Turkey hats to celebrate Thanksgiving!
Mrs. Gallo's class prepared homemade apple sauce. While cutting is a crucial step in the process, we allowed the students to utilize their muscles and cutting skills to contribute to the final results with staff assistance. Mrs. Phelan, Ms. Sherry, and Ms. Kaitlyn enjoyed the smiles from the end results.

This team was made up of literacy coaches from all over the state of Michigan who are growing their expertise by practicing coaching cycles with our DES students and teachers. What an honor to host this amazing group of educators! 💙
