Our Riverside Academy students really embraced the Challenge aspect of Adventure yesterday, working together to complete the Invisible Maze. We also had our students dressed up for Broadway Day as part of Spirit Week.

Already an eventful Monday with Adam Sandler Day kicking off our Spirit Week and Monroe County Intermediate School District Staff presenting "Why Your Brain Fights Itself."

Thanks to our PTO for providing popcorn and books to all of our students and staff to kick off Read-A-Thon 📚🍿

Moana is official! 💙🐾💙

Dundee Community Schools pauses to reflect on the tragedy of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on our nation. 25 years ago, 2,977 innocent lives were lost. Today, we honor the families of those affected and express our deepest gratitude to the brave firefighters, police officers, medical workers, and military members who ran toward danger and continue to serve.

Moana has been making her way into more and more classrooms to practice appropriate behavior. She's learning so much and students are doing a great job of modeling calm bodies for her. She's still in stage one (no petting) but is able to spend more time out of the office! 🐾🐾

Mrs. Cheney organized a time for some of our 4th grade student leaders to learn proper flag protocol from a local veteran. This is going to be a new responsibility for our 4th graders this year! 🇺🇸

We had a great first day with Adventure yesterday at Riverside Academy!

Did you know that we have truly amazing veteran teachers in our building like Mrs. Sampson who has taught for over 30 years?! Teachers like her share their wisdom with our new teachers by modeling lessons in their classrooms. We 💙 learning from each other!

Ms. Carek's Y5 friends enjoyed learning about their new centers during indoor recess this afternoon 🌧️🌧️

Moana was able to join our teachers for their first round of PLC meetings! She is learning how to hang with us for periods of time and she's doing so well! 💙
