Join our DES staff at Open House this week!
Wednesday, August 23rd from 4:00-6:00 pm; 1st-4th Grade Only; Y5 & Kindergarten have their own open house on Aug. 28th by appointment (more info to come!)

Dundee Community Schools is excited to offer free breakfast and lunch to all students starting this new school year thanks to the Michigan Healthy School Meals Program! Even though meals will be provided for free, it's important for families to continue sharing household income information in order for our schools to receive full access to federal and state funding for educational programs that our students are entitled to. Keep an eye out for more information and steps you can take during school registration.
Our summer school classes enjoyed a day at the Indian Creek Zoo!
Yesterday Mrs. Love and Mrs. Plum hosted Play dates with Principals on our playground for children ages 0-5. We enjoyed a time of play, a story, music and movement and a snack.

Mrs. Cairns & Mrs. Steffey's classes met Mr. Cooly. He is a wildlife biologist that works for the Michigan DNR. He showed their classes different skulls and furs of animals in Michigan!
Mrs. Vergiels' first graders are hatching chicks!
Ms. Vaughn's class enjoyed reading outside this morning!
