Attention Viking Nation: We would like to announce that starting with our May 8th meeting, all regularly scheduled Board of Education meetings will be held in the high school media center. Community members can park in the high school's southeast parking lot and enter the building through the set of doors labeled 'Z'. All meetings start at 5:30 pm unless otherwise posted. Mrs. Gallo's Kinder Peer to Peer Links enjoyed an afternoon playing with bubbles and showing off their new shirts!

Attention Dundee Families,
Next Wednesday, April 26th at 2:30 pm the district’s Sex Education Advisory Board (SEAB) will be holding a meeting in the middle school media center. An official meeting notice will be shared soon.
Leading up to this meeting the district is hosting two opportunities for the public to view the videos that are on the agenda for approval. If you’d like to preview the elementary school, middle school, and/or high school videos, please join us during the following windows of time:
Thursday, April 20th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am
or
Tuesday, April 25th from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Interested individuals should enter using the main middle school entrance at 420 Ypsilanti Street, Dundee, MI 48131.
We'd like to remind you that all buildings have a half day of instruction tomorrow, Tuesday, April 18th. Below is the message from last week that was shared when this change to the schedule was made.

This last week our Dundee Family lost a cherished member of our teaching staff and community. To allow our staff and students the opportunity to show their respects to their beloved friend, teacher, and staff member, Dundee Community Schools will be transitioning from a full day of school to a half day of school on Tuesday, April 18th.
Release times on that day are as follows:
- Riverside Academy - 10:40 am
- Dundee Middle School - 11 am
- Dundee High School - 11:03 am
- Dundee Elementary School - 12:05 pm.

PE and Team Sports are enjoying some kickball in this beautiful weather!
Mrs. Jennings from the Monroe County Library System was our guest reader today in first grade. She read books about birds and showed the kids nests that had been abandoned by birds. She collects old bird nests that birds are no longer using. The kids loved it!
