This week our teaching staff were able to tour the building additions of the construction site. It was exciting to see all of the progress!










Today students in Mrs. White, Mrs. Sproles and Mrs. Hall's classes joined with their peers at the Ed Center for a beautiful music program! 🎶



5th and 6th grade students who earned the third quarter reward by being respectful, showing ownership for themselves, others, and our district, and by working hard were rewarded with a trip to Fifth-Third Field today to watch a Mud Hens game. We had a great time!
Our 7th and 8th graders will make this trip in May.











Tonight was Mrs. Spotts and Mrs. Lein's class' turn to put on the fourth grade musical! Well done by all!

For this month's NHJS meeting, members are creating and collecting dog and cat toys to donate to local animal shelters.







Mrs. Clarke's 3rd graders learned about Henry Ford and the assembly line today as they prepare for the Greenfield Village field trip next week. Students tried out their own assembly lines and made paper airplanes!

The students in Mr. H's Language Arts class finished reading The Hunger Games and are now completing a project about the novel.










Our Gsrp students were able to "plant" their flowers for the CAN Council on this sunny day

Thanks to the CAN Council for presenting the Pinwheel Ceremony at DES today for child abuse awareness month!





Tonight was session one of young 5s and kindergarten round up at DES and we had a great time meeting the newest members of our Viking team!











Mrs. Carek's Y5 friends noticed that our announcements screen only represented the male Viking. They signed a petition requesting both a boy & girl Viking be represented. We were able to show them their part in taking action by sharing the updated announcement screen with them.





Mrs. DeMint's art students worked on eclipse creations today! ☀️





Mrs. Burger's 2nd graders learned about murals this week and ended by painting a class murals about our class!
