Varsity Volleyball drops their non-conference match with the Milan Big Reds.

During this first week of school at DES we've been hard at work teaching students the PBIS expectations for all areas of the building so they don't have to wonder. This creates a safe and predictable environment for us all.
Mrs. Love and Mr. Briggs taught lessons on the expectations in the cafeteria and on the playground while Mr. Cousino and Mrs. Raymer taught lessons on bus expectations. Mrs. Hawkins and Nurse Palmer taught students about bathroom expectations while classroom teachers taught hallway expectations. Ask your student what they learned about being a Viking this week!

Day three @DES

Giving a shout out to Axis Engineering, Dundee, for the school supply donation. Axis Engineering has been donating to our schools for a couple of years and the students and staff truly appreciate them.

Check out these progress pictures of the elementary school addition!

The DHS cross country team had their first meet in Milan tonight. Great job, and awesome effort tonight!

Wasn't the outcome we wanted, but what a great night! Our Vikings showed resiliency and toughness against a strong Flat Rock team. Thank you to all who came out to support! Thank you to John D. Craig & Family for your generosity! Thank you to our scoreboard sponsors! Go Vikings!

Viking Nation: We are excited about tonight's game vs. Flat Rock. Mother Nature has thrown us a curveball, and the excessive rain has resulted in limited parking on school grounds for tonight's game. Carpooling with your family and friends is recommended. Due to the heavy rains, we ask that no one park on the grass. Please utilize the streets surrounding the football field. The middle school parking lot is also an option. We appreciate your cooperation. Come on out and watch our varsity football team as they take on the Flat Rock Rams. Our marching band will be officially performing for the first time this season. Go Vikings!

Thanks to everyone who joined us at our DES open house tonight! We enjoyed seeing all of your smiles!

Kicking off school the right way with a middle school back to school bash! It's good to be a Viking!
