Today our 5th–8th grade students participated in the spelling bee at Dundee Middle School. Here are a few photos of the event. Congrats to everyone who took part!

Thank you to our NHS members for putting on another successful Viking Camp for our DES students!


Today was the end of the third marking period and the students at DES earned a schoolwide reward for filling the Viking VAT with ROW tickets this quarter! Students enjoyed root beer floats as a treat before they went home.









The middle school spelling bee is under way! Go Vikings!




We are scheduled for half-days of instruction at DES, DMS, & DHS on Friday, March 17th.
Our schools will dismiss at the following times:
Dundee Elementary School - 12:05 p.m.
Dundee Middle School - 11:00 a.m.

DES has TALENT!











The temporary office that will house our contractors during the upcoming construction in the elementary school is onsite!
A few major projects include air quality units being installed in all downstairs classrooms, the addition of much needed classrooms in our elementary school, and adding space to the elementary cafeteria. All of these projects were included in the bond that was approved in November.


DCS was recently awarded a grant through the State of Michigan to perform a security assessment of all four buildings in our district. We are partnering with the school safety planning experts at American Threat Assessment & Protection to conduct these assessments.
As part of this process, we are looking for volunteers to serve on a safety focus team. This group will meet before the safety assessment begins, participating in a guided discussion on the strengths and challenges of school safety planning at DCS. This group may be asked to provide ongoing feedback throughout the assessment process and may meet again following the assessment.
